US Congressman apologized for not consulting Indo-Americans before writing Kashmir letter to Pompeo

US Congressman Tom Suozzi wrote a letter to the secretary of state Mike Pompeo, expressing his concerns about the human rights situation in Kashmir after India scraped Article 370 and removed Jammu and Kashmir's special status. Indian-Americans were agitated about the letter, and Top Suozzi has apologized for that. He said it was a mistake to not to consult with his 'Indian-American' friends before sending the letter.
