US continues to stand with pro-democracy protestors in Myanmar

Amid the ongoing massive protests in Myanmar against military rule, United States has reiterated that it stands with those fighting for democracy. "We continue to stand with the people of Burma as they voice their aspirations for peace, democracy, and rule of law. We call on the military to stop violence, release all those unjustly detained, cease attacks on journalists," US State Department Spokesman Ned Price tweeted.
