Several top officials resigned from President Donald Trump's administration after a violent mob stormed the US Capitol. The officials who quit include US Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao and Education Secretary Betsy DeVos. "There is no mistaking the impact your rhetoric had on the situation, and it is the inflection point for me," DeVos wrote in her letter to Trump. US Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund also resigned.
