US senator Bernie Sanders called India's action in Kashmir as 'unacceptable' to his cheering Muslim audience in Houston. According to Lawrence Sellin, veteran US Army Colonel, his remarks were influenced by his Pakistani-American campaign manager & Muslim activist Faiz Shakir. Sanders was deeply concerned about Kashmir's situation & asked US govt to speak boldly in support of a UN-backed peaceful resolution to resolve the issue.
