Actor-turned-politician Kamal Haasan got caught up in a controversy over his statement about Nathuram Godse being a terrorist. The Makkal Needhi Maiam Chief Haasan defended his remark saying 'What I told is historical truth & it has been quoted out of context'. He didn't speak against any religion in his speech. He added his family members follow Hindu religion & he can never speak anything to hurt Hindus sentiments.
