'Will go a long way in protecting public health': WHO applauds India over E-Cigarette Ban

WHO appreciated the Indian government's move to ban e-cigarettes. The UN agency hailed the move as a strong & definite step and asserted that it would go a long way in protecting the public health and well-being of future generations. On Sept 18, the Union Cabinet approved the ban on e-cigarettes, e-hookahs in the country, which includes production, manufacturing, transport, sale, distribution, and storage.
