Taiwan's opposition party took a dig at the United States official and sought clarification after the envoy appeared to mispronounce the name of the island's president for Chinese President Xi Jinping. Health chief Alex Azar during his speech messed up the name of President Tsai - pronounced "ts-eye" - and instead said something closer to "shee". However, Azar corrected his mistake later in his speech.
