The Centre dismissed apprehensions over the 3-language formula in the wake of draft new education policy & said there was no move to impose any language on anyone. However, a popular social media campaign flooded with messages that Hindi should not be made a mandatory 3rd language in schools, on Twitter. TN's school education minister said that the new policy if enacted, will be shunned by the state.
