2020 Indian Open golf tournament cancelled due to coronavirus

The 2020 Indian Open golf tournament has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Indian Golf Union (IGU) announced on Friday. The tournament, which was originally scheduled to be held in March, was initially postponed to later part of the year following the outbreak of novel coronavirus. The IGU said that the decision was made in consultation with the European Tour, sanctioning partner for the competition.
