FIFA on Friday in a statement revealed that a total of 3.572 billion people watched the 2018 World Cup that was held in Russia and almost 1.12 billion people tuned in to watch the final between France and Croatia. It also said that this year's viewer retention was more than the 2014 World Cup. FIFA revealed that the number of people viewed this year's match at least for 3 minutes was 3.04 billion.
