Shahid Afridi had claimed he didn’t know his exact age when he made it to Pakistan’s U-14 trials, and it then resulted in all the “mess” and “misunderstanding” on the issue. Afridi, popular for hard-hitting, had also admitted he was actually 19 years old (21, according to his autobiography ‘Game Changer’) when he delivered the historic 37-ball 100 in Nairobi in 1996-97 and not 16 as it has been recorded officially.
