Due to the reopened investigation against Cristiano Ronaldo for rape allegations by Kathryn Mayorga, the football star did not receive a call from team coach Fernando Santos for upcoming matches and has been left off the Portugal national soccer team. The player was left out as the coach and Portuguese federation president, Fernando Gomes felt that it would be better for him to not play in November matches.
