10 Sri Lankan players opt out of Pakistan tour due to security concerns

Since the 2009 attack, Sri Lanka has always been sceptical on returning to Pakistan and with the Lankans set to tour, among 10 players from the preliminary squad have opted to sit out of the tour of Pakistan due to security concerns. Sri Lanka is scheduled to play 3 T20Is, and 2 ODIs and the prominent names sitting out are Malinga, Mathews, Chandimal and skipper Karunaratne. Last month the sports minister approved the tour.
