After 12 long years Andy Flower leaves England cricket. Flower became England’s assistant coach to Peter Moores in 2007 and took charge as head coach 2 years later. He has now decided to step down after Chris Silverwood appointed as England’s new head coach. During his stint as head coach, Flower guided England’s Test team to no.1 in the world, winning 2010 World Twenty20 and Ashes success in Australia in 2010-11.
