A big golden flower on Australian players’ shirt collars in the ongoing Ashes series has made everyone curious. It’s a symbol of commitment to reconciliation and finding common ground with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It represents a native art ‘Walkabout Wickets,’ by Aunty Fiona Clarke, great-great-grand-daughter of ‘Mosquito,’ a member of the pioneering Aboriginal team toured England in 1868.
