Australian cricketer banned for posting Playing XI on Instagram

Hobart Hurricanes player Emily Smith has been handed a one-year ban by Cricket Australia after she posted the team's line-up for a match between the Hurricanes and Sydney Thunder one hour before it was due to be released on Instagram. This was a violation of the Cricket Australia anti-corruption code which prohibits a player to disclose any inside information. She has also been ruled out from the remaining Women BBL.
