Caroline Wozniacki to retire after Australian Open

Former world no.1 Caroline Wozniacki will retire from tennis after next month’s Australian Open. The 29-year-old won her only Grand Slam singles title in Melbourne last year. Wozniacki, who became professional at 15 in 2005, enjoyed 71 weeks at the top of WTA rankings after first crowned world’s best player in October 2010. She has clinched 30 WTA titles in her career, including the 2017 Tour Finals in Singapore.
