Chennayin FC managed a 2-2 draw with NorthEast United FC to end their league stage campaign and will face FC Goa in the ISL play-offs. Masih Saighani gave Chennaiyin the lead (17th minute) before 2 goals in each half from Martin Chaves (43rd, 71st) almost handed all 3 points for NorthEast. But a late equaliser from Lallianzuala (90+3rd) secured the away side a point. NorthEast finished the season on the ninth spot.
