Cricket Australia has full support for ICC’s decision to bring in ‘concussion substitutes’ ahead of the men’s Ashes series, starting from August 1 in the UK. ‘Concussion substitutes’ have already been included at the domestic cricket in Australia since the 2016-17 season. As per ICC guideline, the replacement player has to be a like-for-like to the one needs substitution and will only be approved by the match referee.
