Roger Federer suffered a shock exit from the US Open after Grigor Dimitrov won a thriller to finally beat the Swiss great. Federer had won all 7 of their previous encounters but Dimitrov this time fought back to win 3-6, 6-4, 3-6, 6-4, 6-2. The Bulgarian next faces Russian fifth seed Daniil Medvedev in the last four. His stunning win also made sure there will be at least one first-time Grand Slam finalist this year.
