Novak Djokovic cruised to a record-extending fifth Paris Masters title by beating Canadian youngster Denis Shapovalov in the final and the win boosts his chances of taking the year-end world no.1 spot. The top seed secured a dominant 6-3, 6-4 victory over his 20-year-old opponent, who looked a bit nervous after entering the final as Rafael Nadal's withdrew before their scheduled semifinal with a muscle problem.
