The England and Wales Cricket Board is “extremely disturbed” by allegations of racist chanting along with sexist and homophobic abuse by spectators during the fourth Ashes test at Old Trafford. On the second day of the test on Thursday, a section of fans were singing a racist song about England’s Barbados-born Jofra Archer. Women also faced sexist chants while homophobic abuse was directed at some players.
