The England Cricket Board decided to honour healthcare workers who are involved in the fight against Covid-19. The England cricket team wore jerseys with names of health workers as international cricket resumed in Southampton after a gap of 117 days. Ben Stokes, who will be leading the England side in the absence of Joe Root, wore the shirt with the name of Dr Vikas Kumar of anesthetics at the Darlington Memorial Hospital.
