Roger Federer kick-started his bid for a 10th title at the ATP Swiss indoors in Basel in style as he took just 54 minutes to cruise past German qualifier Peter Gojowczyk in what was the Swiss maestro’s 1,500th career match. The landmark 6-2, 6-1 win is a perfect start to win his 103rd title. Federer, who has played the Basel final on all of his last 12 visits, won ATP titles this season in Dubai, Miami and Halle.
