Former India cricketers Sourav Ganguly and VVS Laxman hit out at Indian team management’s decision to send Dhoni at 7 during India’s defeat to New Zealand. India had a rare top-order collapse and crashed out of World Cup despite heroics from Ravindra Jadeja and Dhoni. Ganguly and Laxman said Dhoni should have been sent up the order to build a partnership with Rishabh Pant. India left it too late for a counter-attack.
