Ghana star Asamoah Gyan joins ISL team NorthEast United

NorthEast United FC have signed striker Asamoah Gyan, Ghana’s all-time leading goalscorer with 51 strikes in 107 internationals ahead of ISL season 6 starting on October 20. 33-year-old Gyan has played three World Cups (2006, 2010 and 2014) scoring six goals, the maximum by an African footballer. He is set to join coach Robert Jarni’s training in Guwahati this week replacing Nigerian striker Bartholomew Ogbeche.
