Hyderabad will host IPL 2019 final on May 12, Chennai and Vizag to host qualifiers

Putting a full stop on speculations Committee of Administrators (CoA) chief Vinod Rai reveals that Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi Stadium will host the final match of IPL 2019 on May 12. Chennai lost the right to host final due to the long-standing issue surrounding the empty stands which Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) failed to resolve. Chennai will now host Qualifier 1 while Vizag will host the Eliminator and Qualifier 2.
