In 1998, former England cricketer Geoffery Boycott was convicted of assaulting his girlfriend, leaving her with black eyes after hitting her 20 times. Recently, Boycott is to be knighted and to be known as 'Sir,' however, the move has prompted outrage from a domestic violence charity. While Boycott has repeatedly denied the offence, French judge, Dominique Haumant said Boycott doesn't deserve it and stands by her decision.
