The Sourav Ganguly-Jay Shah regime may soon face a challenge after taking charge as the International governing body for Cricket, ICC's newly Futures Tours Programme (FTP) may affect Indian cricket board's revenue stream. ICC has proposed World T20 every year and 50-over World Cup every three years and it is being perceived as ICC's plan to enter the global media rights markets for the 2023-2028 period.
