Following a major controversy around the boundary count rule which made England lift its maiden World Cup after the super over got tied, ICC said, Super Over as a way to decide results at ICC events will be retained. In group stages, if the Super Over is tied the match will be tied. In Semi-Finals and Finals, if the Super Over will be tied then it will be repeated until one team has more runs than the other, ICC added.
