The Delhi franchise decided to change the team name ahead of the last IPL season with a hope to change fortunes of the team. The franchise owner, Parth Jindal, however, is not thinking far ahead but is backing the team to make it to the playoffs for the second consecutive season. Rather Parth reckons if the DC team doesn’t make it to the playoffs this year, he will consider his tenure as a chairman as a failure.
