Completing the I-League second division has become the most worrying thing for AIFF now. The reserve teams can’t make it to the final round unless the season is complete. When the play was halted last month group league ties were yet to be completed. The football season ends on May 31. If clearance doesn’t come for the league to be completed before that, AIFF may carry forward the 2nd division to 2020-21.
