I-League clubs to go to court if ISL made top league

Putting their unity in display yet again, 7 I-League clubs Monday have threatened to approach “appropriate courts for relief” if the AIFF makes ISL the country’s top league. These united clubs are Mohun Bagan, East Bengal, Churchill Brothers, Minerva Punjab FC, Aizawl FC, NEROCA, and Gokulam Kerala FC. Earlier, AIFF general secretary Kushal Das’s publicly acknowledged ISL as the country’s main league.
