For the 1st time, BCCI facilitates a three and half hour presentation with a processed data for the five-member national selection committee a day before the meeting to provide a clearer picture as to where the players stood and what can be expected in English conditions. Reportedly Indian team's data analyst CKM Dhananjay prepared a special data analytics package including players matches, runs, strike-rates, wickets.
