The ‘Big Three’ of world cricket (India, England and Australia cricket boards) have come onboard to counter ICC after it planned to organise the world-cup every 3 year. The three boards are planning to organise an annual quadrangular limited-overs series involving India, England, Australia and another team, from 2021 onwards. The BCCI, ECB and CA met in December to discuss the plans for such a tournament.
