India vs Sri Lanka 1st T20I called off due to wet pitch

The India vs Sri Lanka first T20I at Guwahati has been abandoned without a ball bowled. There was heavy rain after the toss after which some water seeped in on the surface from the covers. There were a lot of efforts made to dry up the pitch but wet patches on the track led to the match being called off. India will now face Sri Lanka on Tuesday in Indore as this has now becomes a 2-match series.
