It is anticipated that Ravi Shastri will hike his remuneration. The head coach's CTC will improve by 20%. This will bring it anywhere between Rs 9.5 cr and Rs 10 cr with his yearly package. He previously drew Rs 8 cr in his prior agreement. Shastri had described his aspirations and what his instant objectives were with the side after his assignment as head coach. “Next 2 yr is to see the smooth transition," he said.
