India’s men’s recurve team of Atanu Das, Tarundeep Rai and Pravin Ramesh secured its berth to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics after defeating Canada 5-3 in the quarterfinals of the World Archery Championships. However, the women’s recurve made a shocking exit after losing to Belarus 2-6. The men’s team had missed the Rio Olympics except for Atanu Das who qualified in individual competition but lost in pre-quarters.
