IOC removes ban imposed on India over hosting any international sports events

The IOC lifted all restrictions imposed on India with respect to awarding and hosting any international sports event in the country. The Indian government gave a written guarantee to the IOA & IOC that all athletes who qualify for international events being held in India will be granted entry into the country. Soon after this, the ban was lifted. The IOC also acknowledged the letter sent to them by IOA chief Batra.
