IPL 2020 inching towards cancellation, 2021 auction also unlikely to happen: Report

As the novel coronavirus tightens its grip in India, all mega sporting events are being cancelled to avoid community spread of the pandemic. The IPL 2020 was earlier scheduled for a kickstart on March 29 but was postponed till April 15. However, with the increasing number of coronavirus cases, the cash-rich tournament is unlikely to take place this year. As per the reports, the mega auction of IPL 2021 will also not take place.
