Italian top-flight clubs agree players’ pay cuts

All the Serie A clubs are willing to cut the salaries of players, coaches and staff amid the financial crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic. All football in Italy are currently suspended since Mar 9 due to the outbreak which has killed more than 16,000 people in the country. Players' salaries will have to be reduced by a third of their gross annual earnings if the season gets canceled and a sixth if it resumes.
