NZ skipper Kane Williamson script history today after becoming the highest-scoring skipper in a single World Cup edition. He achieved the feat during the ICC WC 2019 final against England at Lord's. With 549* runs in WC 2019, he surpassed Sri Lanka's Jayawardene record of 548 runs in 11 innings in 2007 World Cup. He also has a chance to become the leading run-getter in 2019 WC surpassing Rohit who is on top with 647 runs.
