World badminton champion Kento Momota has become the first ever Japanese man to top the rankings of Badminton World Federation. He has replaced Denmark's Viktor Axelsen who slipped into the 3rd position in the latest ranking. Momota couldn't take part in the Olympics as he was suspended in April 2016 for visiting an illegal casino. The 24-years old has performed brilliantly after coming back.
