Kim Clijsters lost her first match in her tennis comeback in a 6-2, 7-6 (8/6) defeat to Garbine Muguruza in the opening round of the Dubai Open. Four-time Grand Slam champion Clijsters was out of action for 7 years before this clash and this was her first official match since the 2012 US Open. Muguruza, 10 10 years junior to Clijsters, dominated early on as the veteran Belgian struggled to adjust to pace of the game.
