Heinrich Klaasen’s maiden international century set up a 74-run win for South Africa in the first ODI against Australia on Saturday. Klaasen smashed 123 not out as South African put up a challenging total 291 for 7. Australia, in reply, were going smoothly midway but lost their last 7 wickets for 43 runs to be bundled out for 217. Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne’s 84-run stand for the third wicket went in vain.
