Leicester City set a club record of 8 successive EPL wins after 2 goals from Jamie Vardy guided them to a convincing 4-1 Premier League victory at Aston Villa. Kelechi Iheanacho and Jonny Evans were also on target for the Foxes. The result left Leicester, the 2015-16 champions, second in the points table on 38 points from 16 matches, eight behind runaway leaders Liverpool and 6 ahead of third-placed Manchester City.
