Manju Rani settles for silver, loses to Ekaterina Paltceva in World Boxing C'ships final

Manju Rani, who become the first Indian women's boxer in 18 years to reach the final in the world championships in her maiden appearance, settled for a silver medal in the 48kg category. She lost to Russia's 2nd seeded boxer Ekaterina Paltceva in the final. Yesterday, Mary Kom with bronze medals takes her medals tally to 8 at the World Boxing Championships, making her the most successful boxer of all times.
