Maria Sharapova pulls out of French Open
Maria Sharapova has withdrawn from the French Open after the Russian failed to recover fully from shoulder surgery. The 32-year-old, who has five Grand Slam titles to her name, hasn’t played since the end of January and had to undergo shoulder surgery in February. The French Open starts on May 26. However, Sharapova has already returned to the practice court and slowly building the strength back in her shoulder.
