Meerut- based cricketer Priyam Garg has been named the captain of the Indian team for the 2020 U 19 World Cup. The right-handed batsman at one time had to travel 40 km every day from his residence to attend training. Garg's aim is to join the ranks of Virat Kohli, Mohammad Kaif and Shaw - the previous captains of the Indian U 19 teams who eventually made their name in the senior sides. He is a Sachin Tendulkar fan.
