Melbourne Renegades claimed their first Big Bash League title after a stunning collapse Melbourne Stars. Having restricted the Renegades to just 5-145, the Stars were cruising to victory at 0-93 in the 13th over, only for the dismissal of Marcus Stoinis (39) to trigger one of the most staggering collapses in BBL history. In the space of 30 balls, the Stars lost seven wickets for 19 runs to slump to a 13-run loss.
